Cherokee Extractive Calibration/Flow Control Panel
The Cherokee Instruments Extractive Calibration/Flow Control Panel is a 19 inch rack mountable device designed to distribute various gas streams to the components of a CEM system. The basic panel accepts 12 calibration gas inputs and a single sample gas input. The panel provides control to 4 instruments via solenoid valves and controllers. The panel can be controlled remotely via a Strata Data Acquisition System.

Heated Sample Lines
AMP-Cherokee heated sample lines are available in lengths of 100’, 50’ and 25’. Heated lines incorporate a 3/8” Teflon tube for sample transport and a 1/4” Teflon tube for calibration gas transport.

Helpful Hint Sample lines are precleaned prior to each shipment. Gas Chromatograph lines are cleaned down to <2 ppm total hydrocarbons. Please do not leave a line coiled while heating as the overwrap may melt.

Standard Heated Sample Line
AMP-Cherokee standard heated sample lines include stainless steel over braided TFE Teflon tubes for sample extraction and calibration gas injection. Line temperature is regulated via an integral Type K thermocouple and an included digital heat controller. Our heated lines are designed to maintain 300oF at –20oF ambient temperature and have a maximum temperature limit of 400oF. All lines are certified clean at <2 ppm for both THC (as CH4) and CO prior to shipment.

FTIR Heated Sample Line
AMP-Cherokee's FTIR heated sample lines incorporate removable core PFA Teflon tubing for sample extraction and calibration gas injection. Line temperature is regulated via an integral Type K thermocouple and an included dual-channel digital heat controller. Our FTIR heated lines are designed to maintain 350oF at 0oF ambient temperature and have a maximum temperature limit of 400oF. All lines are certified clean prior to shipment.

Technician's Note Proper FTIR sampling requires a clean, high temperature sample transport system. AMP-Cherokee can provide additional items such as sample probe/filters and heated sample lines to meet the needs of FTIR sampling. Cherokee can also aid with your sampling needs via training or on-site assistance. Please contact your Cherokee representative to find out more details.

Heat Controllers

AMP-Cherokee offers standard duty (up to 10 amp draw) and heavy-duty (up to 20 amp draw) heat controllers in various configurations. Standard duty controllers are available in single, dual or triple-station arrangements. Heavy-duty controllers are available in single station arrangements only and include an aluminum heat sink for heat dissipation. All controllers incorporate Type K thermocouple inputs.
