Company History
Cherokee Instruments, Inc. was founded in 1995 in order to meet the air sampling equipment needs of industrial facilities and consulting/engineering firms’ nation wide. The company began as an equipment rental solution specializing in stack sampling instruments and accessories. As we grew, additional equipment needs in similar markets were identified which included ambient air and industrial hygiene sampling devices. Cherokee now services the stack, ambient air and industrial hygiene industries with exceptional sampling equipment and support personnel.
Cherokee Today
The equipment employed in our fleet requires that we use highly skilled and trained technicians in order to maintain the inventory in excellent working condition. These skilled personnel have been made available to our clientele for in-house repairs and calibration services for many years. In addition, Cherokee technicians and engineers are also available to all of our clients for on-site repairs at your facility and/or to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance plans for clients that cannot afford to suspend operations due to failed air sampling equipment.
Cherokee offers our clientele temporary solutions in the form of rental equipment and systems, as well as permanent solutions in the form of continuous emissions monitoring and ambient air quality monitoring systems. Plus, all of our equipment is backed by a support staff that is fully capable of solving problems both at our facility or yours. We are committed to earning your business.
We offer a complete range of CEM, Manual, and Ambient Sampling rental equipment. All of our equipment is less than two years old, and with our policy of rotating equipment by selling the used and replacing with new, we provide the latest technology and newest equipment possible.
Our veteran technical staff is pleased to assist you throughout all phases of your testing program, including initial instrumentation selection, telephone technical support, on-site equipment preparation and sampling assistance. We also put our outgoing equipment through a rigorous quality control check prior to shipment. Consequently, you will receive the best equipment available, and the best support at our very competitive rates.
In addition to providing our clients with an exceptional rental experience, we also offer sales and services for analyzers, equipment and accessories. Cherokee is able to provide most of the brand name items that comprise our rental fleet as sales items. Our clients benefit from the ability to evaluate instrumentation in the field via our rental division, prior to committing to the purchase of new instruments. We routinely sell used equipment from our rental fleet and provide repair services for customer-owned instruments. We also have a “Rent-to-Own” program which allows you the flexibility of applying most of your rental cost against the purchase of a unit. So the next time you need that extra piece of equipment, you want to evaluate an instrument prior to purchasing a new one, or you need an instrument repaired, call Cherokee Instruments.
